Invitation to submit an expression of interest to act as a multi_KET pilot production demonstration project
The multi-KETs Pilot Lines project (mKPL) started in January 2013 and was assigned by the European Commission (DG Enterprise and Industry). This ambitious project aims at the preparation of a common understanding of what pilot lines are and how they can be supported by the European Commission.
One of the activities is to organize Demonstrators to both 1) Collect policy and practical experiences in conducting pilot production activities as input for policymaking, as well as 2) Demonstration of pilot production activities to third parties in order to share experiences.
European organizations that are involved in pilot production activities are kindly asked to show their interest to act as a DEMONSTRATOR. We believe that your participation to this project will provide you the opportunity to benefit from this, as this will include e.g. a market assessment, industry value chain assessment, patent analysis and benchmark. It will also enhance the visibility of your organisation and activities and you will be at the forefront of the development of policy to support pilot production.
This Invitation to Expression of Interest will be open until the 16th of September 2013 (17h00 Brussels time). From the received EoI, 10 potential multi-KETs pilot lines demonstration projects will be asked to provide a full project proposal. Up to 4 proposals will then be selected to act as Demonstrator, to be started by December 2013 for a one year period.
